Updating Your Bookmarks to www.AHIMA.org

AHIMA.org has been upgraded to a new internet technology. This new technology will help to ensure that the sites uptime continues to be near 100%. Although the sites look, feel, and navigation has not changed, the recent change has required AHIMA to change all of the web addresses or "URLs" on our site.

During the transition period, we maintained two versions of each page, one in the old .cfm format and one in the new .asp format (in nearly all cases the pages have the exact same web address except the extension at the end has changed from ".cfm" to ".asp"). For example, if your old bookmark pointed to http://www.ahima.org/coding/index.cfm, your new bookmark will point to http://www.ahima.org/coding/index.asp

The best way to re-establish your "bookmarks" or "favorites" on the ahima.org web site is to simply navigate thru the site using the menus and add the new pages to your "favorites" or "bookmarks". This will not affect users who access the site by going to www.ahima.org then navigating the links, nor should it affect users who access pages through our site search. However, if you have bookmarks to old versions of pages, you will need to update your bookmarks to the new link address (URL).
