    Personify Analyst
    Product Support Specialist

    PERSONIFY ANYALYST

    Department:  Technology Services      

     

    POSITION PURPOSE: 

    Provide support for the Personify AMS system, create reports in Personify, manage all system requests and work orders related to Personify.  Act as the Primary Personify support person for the Technology Services team.

    This position will ensure the software is meeting the needs of the business and the customer.  It is also done to maximize our investment in the software that is essentially used for primary business functions related to supporting our Dues and Non-Dues Revenue activities. 

    JOB DUTIES:

     

    • Create, modify and manage Personify Reports in Business Objects.  Manage the report-writing function for Personify, gather requirements and produce designs and resulting reports.
    • Manage, support and resolve all work orders related to Personify.  This includes report requests, form modifications, data needs and all other issues related to Personify support.
    • Migrate all current Cognos reports to Business Objects to be made available in the Personify Back Office system.
    • Provide SQL programming and database support for the Personify database. 

     

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

     

    • Business Objects Report Development experience- 1-2  years
    • Crystal Reports Development- 1-2 years
    • MS SQL Programming- T- SQL- 2 years
    • Business/Systems analysis- 1-2 years
    • Project Management- 1-2 years
    • MS Office 2003/2007
    • Windows XP/Vista
    • Preferred- TIMSS or Personify technical support experience
    • Previous experience in a technical role in an Association Management environment
    • Customer Service experience in an IT department, providing technical services to internal and external customers

     

    PRODUCT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

    Professional Practice, focus area Clinical Coding and Reimbursement

    AHIMA’s Professional Practice Resource Team provides product support for products and services that require professional practice content expertise.   This is done to maintain and add value to web-based training products, publications and member support is needed for the distance education courses and other products/services that require regular review and updating for regulatory changes or industry developments.

     

     

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

    Education, Knowledge and Skills:  To be credible to members and other Association customers, the individual who occupies this position must:

     

    • An academic degree is required specific to Health Information Management from an AHIMA accredited program.  Masters Degree preparation in education preferred but not required.
    • RHIA, RHIT, CCS or CCS-P credentials.
    • Possess an HIM education and/or practice experience related to clinical coding in at least one health care setting (i.e. hospital based, physician-based, ambulatory care or home/health long term care). 
    • Strong knowledge of coding and classification systems across health care settings at an application and technical level required. 
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with staff/contractors at varying levels
    • Effective group communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to be self-directed and seek out opportunities to apply knowledge and skills for the benefit of the organization and its members.

    The candidate must be a strong strategic thinker, have high integrity, bring a positive outlook, and not hesitate questioning or challenging others in a constructive manner.  He/she will be outgoing, able to easily develop strong working relationships,  and have excellent communication skills (formal and informal).   Finally, the candidate must be adept at building respect with members and key AHIMA customers.
